The Performance Society serves as the annual fund for the Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts. This annual fundraising campaign allows alumni and friends to support the arts. 

Members of The Performance Society understand that their contributions will be used to help pay the cost of presenting quality artists who appear in the Hall as well as for operational costs associated with the facility. The price charged for most cultural events does not pay for half the cost of presenting the program. Missouri State University and The Performance Society membership are partnering to help provide reasonably priced events. Like many arts organizations, the Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts relies on external support.

Gifts to The Performance Society are tax deductible minus the benefits actually received at each level. All donors receive a letter at the end of each calendar year noting the exact amount of their gift that is tax deductible.
