The Missouri State University Phone Campaign is an Annual Funds program within the office of Development and Alumni Relations.  It is a key component of the University's overall fundraising program.  Trained student callers annually contact alumni, parents and friends to raise money for various programs.

Each semester we employ a graduate assistant, four team leaders, and 28 trained student callers.  Our team leaders are former top callers and have been with the phone campaign for well over a year.  They are responsible for training, recruiting and motivating callers.  Each shift (14 callers) is split into two teams.  It is the responsibility of the team leaders to work with their teams and give them weekly updates on their stats.  All four teams compete for weekly and monthly prizes.

The Phone Campaign allows the University to annually have one-on-one contact.  This two way communication allows us to answer questions, keep our records current and update alumni, parents and friends of current events at the University.

Through the Phone Campaign thousands of biographical records are updated and email addresses are acquired.  Student callers emphasize the importance of financial support and offer the opportunity for alumni, parents and friends to make a gift to the University.  Donors can designate their gift to a variety of funds.

The Phone Campaign is critical in updating records, maintaining contact and raising substantial financial support for the University's current students and academic programs.  Our chief purpose is to seek private contributions for Missourit State University academic programs and special campaigns.

It is our goal to speak to as many alumni, parents and friends of the University as possible each year.  By keeping them informed about University news and needs, we are creating a link that enables us to raise the considerable private resources that, in turn, allow the University to maintain the quality of its programs for future generations.
